The Volt Metro aims to keep in line with tradition as one of the most popular electric bikes in our range. This stylish foldable e-bike has been improved and refined with several new developments and it’s safe to say the Metro has never looked or ridden better!
The frame has a new sleek and modern design. The addition of front and rear Shimano M375 disc brakes provide greatly improved braking power. Not to mention, by removing the rear V-Brake we have now added an ABUS frame-lock on the rear wheel to make sure your new bike is always secure. With an upright riding position, Velo Plush saddle, ZOOM suspension seat-post and SR Suntour front fork suspension, it will be hard to find a more comfortable ride. The Shimano Acera 8 speed gears provide you with a good ratio, meaning you won't miss riding a more conventional bike with a larger frame and wheels.
Still one of the lightest ebikes on the market with a large capacity SpinTech™ Panasonic battery, the Metro folds down quickly and easily for storage or travelling.The Metro's lightweight 16 inch frame and powerful 250 watt SpinTech™ motor results in a nippy and stylish way to get around! There are two battery options available on the Metro, the standard 40 miles or the upgraded 60 mile battery if needed.
