DESCRIPTION
The ever-popular Pulse is now available with a smaller, step-through frame making it easier to ride and more accessible for smaller riders. This version has also undergone a bit of a make-over with a glossy metallic-white frame finish.
With all the quality components of the original, this low-step Pulse is sure to be a winner. It features Alexrims 26" wheels with Kevlar lined Kenda tyres and tough but flexible mudguards by industry leader, SKS. The Shimano M375 disc brakes on the front and rear wheels are fitted with "safety power-cut" technology, ensuring that the motor cuts out when the brakes are engaged so they never work against each other. Shimano alivio 8-speed gears offer reliable and responsive gear shifting, and your ride is cushioned by SR Suntour’s NCX suspension forks.
The SpinTech™ 250-watt motor is more than capable of driving your rides and climbing formidable hills. The motor system incorporates "continuous spin" technology allowing for smooth and unnoticeable transitions between power-assisted and non-assisted riding. Powering this system is a SpinTech™ Panasonic battery capable of over 1,000 full-charge cycles and available in the standard size (Up to 60 miles). The whole system is controlled from the sleek, waterproof LCD display allowing you to easily move between the 4 different pedal assist modes.
Just like the Pulse, this is a hybrid e-bike and so, is designed primarily for road use but can comfortably tackle a multitude of terrains. The tyres are wide enough to deal with light off-road tracks and the suspension in the forks and seat post absorb the bumps wherever you ride.
